January once again is done. Put a fork in him and let’s move our energy onto bigger and better things. Our period of recalibration is also coming to an end. As the fourth quarter of the Human Design cycle ends today.
Over the past few years, especially in and after the pandemic, I have felt more and more like the New Year didn’t feel aligned or start until February. Now, after deeper study and exploration in all things Human Design, I understand why.
The new solar cycle (when the Sun moves into Gate 41) didn’t even start until January 23rd. And, when it did kick off, we technically were still in the energy of the fourth quarter of the previous sun cycle. January is the last segment of our recalibration period.
Despite what we’ve been told, energetically our New Year starts to open up in the window between the start of a new solar cycle, along with that of the next moon cycle (which happens on February 10th).
During that period of two weeks, we move out of the final aspects of the Quarter of Recalibration into the first quarter of the energetic New Year, which occurs on February 3rd (tomorrow) and invites us into the Quarter of Possibility … the time for planting the seeds we want to grow and harvest for this year, along with starting to take inspired actions aligned to what we want to call in and desire most.
Meaning, today is our final purge to till the soil, clear the deck, and get ourselves ready for the opening of greater abundance, expansion, and quantum shifts. As the energy of the first quarter moves in, we will feel called to harness our energy, ycreate more discipline, and begin fully moving in the direction of what is propelling us forward.
So, I offer you some thoughts (and maybe guidance) on how to use to today for your final preparations. Take some time for quiet, and gentle, rumination and contemplation. Ask yourself the following questions:
- Have I cleared out all that needs to be released from the previous year?
- What am I still clinging onto (including my own sense of identity)?
- What seeds do I truly want to plant, tend to, grow, and harvest this year?
- What do I need to embody in order to raise my vibration / frequency?
- Where do I need to prepare myself for greater discipline or practice?
- What support do I need in order to feel aligned?
- How I will tend to myself first to create overflow in order to serve?
The energy this year is magnetic. We are entering into a 8 year … meaning a year based in abundance, blessings, expansion, and rewards. We also are stationed direct in every planet until April. This is a time to be intentional about what you are planting.
This means the language that you use, the narrative that you tell about your story, and the actions you choose to take every day. By staying connected to the energetic field and how it’s opening, you will begin to see massive and quantum shifts in your life, business, money, and relationships.
However, the key is intention. And, alignment.
